Junior Marketing and Communications Coordinator

We are now looking for a Junior Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Brand Identity Team. The preferred location for the position is Vaasa, Finland. The position is fixed term for a period of 12 months.
In this role, you will develop brand guidelines, manage, and develop digital tools that support brand development and brand-related processes. In addition to this, you will manage and execute some of our key projects such as our Brand refresh implementation ethnography project, our Brand WeLeap training development project while being responsible for user support, and our 190th-anniversary global communications campaign content creation project (both visual design and copy).
Your tasks and projects will include:
- Supporting the ongoing brand identity refresh project, developing guidelines, assets, and templates as well as being responsible for trainings and internal communications.
- Supporting our brand requests, and responding to brand-related support queries in our ticketing systems.
- Being the owner of Canva tool development, establishing Canva as the go-to solution to enable non-designers to create on-brand materials.
- Template and guideline development, training development, and internal communications of MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
- Visual support of employer branding, working together with global and local HR on employer branding efforts, working in close collaboration with both other Marketing & Communications teams and businesses.
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- 1-2 years of experience in practical branding, marketing, and communications, ideally from an in-house creative team.
- Experience in creative and copy content creation.
- Experience in planning, managing, and creating internal brand communications and guidelines.
- Having worked on larger communications projects and campaigns.
- Being able to work in a fast-paced creative environment and in a matrix organisation.
- Development of facilities branding and employer branding.
- Ability of planning, creating, and executing training materials.
- Knowledge in research and ethnographic study.
- Experience in Canva, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Bynder, and Adobe CC suite (InDesign and Illustrator).
